Low-maintenance synthegoniums can withstand a variety of lighting conditions, from strong, diffused light to shade. The Berry Allusion, a well-liked houseplant, has the added benefit of being a natural air filter because of the pollutants that are absorbed by its leaves and then transferred to the roots, where they are converted into nutrients for the plant.
