A climbing evergreen shrub, Jasminum mesnyi reaches heights of up to 3 m (10 ft) and widths of 1-2 m (3–7 ft). In the spring and summer, it bears fragrant yellow flowers. The type that is most commonly grown features semi-double blooms.
